Cabalito was imported from Germany in 2001 to be the flagship hunter stallion for Whitehedge Farm. He combined a very successful show and breeding career from 2001-2007, establishing himself as a very important breeding stallion for the US. His offspring are particularly sought after for their fantastic temperaments, rideability and beautiful hunter movement. Cabalito has been heavily utilized in our breeding program as his first and second generation offspring continue to prove his value as an important part of American Hunter breeding.

Cabalito returned to the show ring this spring in incredible shape at age 18 with great success! He recently competed at the Historic Pin Oak Charity Horse show in Katy, TX. He was shown in the Adult Amateur Hunters with Susan Leonard, and in the National Hunter Derbies with Peter Pletcher. He received great ribbons, including a 7th place out of 45 horses in the $10,000 National Hunter Derby. Cabalito was extremely well represented with several offspring also showing at Pin Oak.

Shine, owned by Vicki Hunton of Olde Oaks Farm, is the ultimate combination of temperament, conformation, ability and beauty. He has, and is still having, a long and successful career. He was imported in 2000 from Germany where he competed in Dressage. Upon entering the U.S. he was introduced to the Hunter ring where he excelled. At the age of 18 he is still 100% sound of mind and body. Many of his offspring have been started by amateurs. That is the beauty of breeding a horse with a spectacular temperament, as well as a beautiful head and neck!
