Promote Your Sire and Be Eligible to Earn Bonuses in the Texas Hunter Breeding SIRE Enrollment Program After three successful years producing the Texas Pre-Green Super Stake Series, the Super Series Group partners have recently introduced the Texas Hunter Breeding Super Series. Marrying the benefits of both programs is the NEW Texas Hunter Breeding SIRE Enrollment Program, where enrolled sires become eligible for bonuses based on the placings of eligible get at the Texas Hunter Breeding and Texas Pre-Green Final Championships. In an effort to promote Hunter and Jumper breeding in Texas and throughout the United States, the Super Series Group will promote enrolled stallions via their website, e-newsletters, and social media outlets from the time of enrollment through the end of the program season. Stallion bonuses will be paid to the nominators of the sires of top four eligible offspring in the Texas Pre-Green Final Championship. In addition, nominators of sires of top two eligible offspring in each class of the Texas Hunter Breeding Final Championship will be awarded bonuses. Horses Enrolled in the Texas Pre-Green program will be eligible for Stake Classes held throughout the year as well as the annual Final Championship and Year EndAwards. To allow for maximum flexibility and development of the Pre-Green horse, horses will be allowed to compete in either height category at all shows, including the Final Championship. 22 Stake Classes held throughout the year will each pay a minimum of $2,500.00 in prize money plus $75.00 per horse added back. While many of the Texas Pre-Green participating shows will be dual-approved with the USHJA National Pre-Green Incentive Program, separate enrollment in each program is required for entry. The Texas Pre-Green Final Championship will pay a guaranteed minimum of $25,000 plus 50% of entry fees added back and will be open to all enrolled horses. Year End Awards will be based on Total Money Won, and will be awarded to leading riders, leading owners, and leading horses for the series. Take 2 Second Career Thoroughbred Incentive will again sponsor a bonus to the leading Thoroughbred in the series. Thoroughbreds must be verified on paper or by tattoo. IMPORTANT! 2015 Texas Hunter Breeding Program enrollment is available to all horses of the appropriate ages, and is not limited to Texas residents. Final Championship Details: Conducted In Accordance With HU106.3 Class 306 Fences: 3'0", 3'3" Entry Fee $250 (50% of entry fees added back to prize money) (*see payout schedule below) Pre Green Horses must be enrolled for the Texas Pre Green Super Stake Series in order to be eligible. The $25,000 + added Texas Pre-Green Super Stake Final Stake will run in a 2 round format for all horses enrolled in the Texas Pre-Green Super Stake Series. To be judged on performance, soundness, suitability and manners. To be scored under the open numeric system. Ties in the first round will go to the second round. Each round to count 50% of the total score; composite scores determine the winners. Formal attire in accordance with HU146.12 and GR 801.2. Super Series Group reserves the right to take additional horses to the finals. Horses Enrolled in the Texas Hunter Breeding program will be eligible to earn points in participating Classes held throughout the year as well as participate in the annual Final Championship and earn Year End Awards. Hunter Breeding Classes held throughout the year at participating events will each count equally toward year-end awards for horses and owners. 10 points will be awarded at each show for Best Young Horse, and 5 points will be awarded at each show for Reserve Best Young Horse. The Texas Hunter Breeding Final Championship will pay a guaranteed minimum of $15,000 plus 50% of entry fees added back and will be open to all enrolled horses. The Final Championship will consist of four separate classes: Yearlings on-the-line, Two Year-Olds on-the-line, Three Year-Olds on-the-line, and Three Year-Olds in the Freestyle Performance Class. More details to follow. Year End Awards will be based on Total Points Earned, and will be awarded to leading horses and leading owners for the series. Enrolled sires will be eligible for bonuses based on placings at both the Texas Pre-Green and Texas Hunter Breeding Final Championship events. Bonuses will be paid to the sires of the top four placing eligible offspring in the Texas Pre-Green Final Championship and the top two placing eligible offspring in each of four Texas Hunter Breeding Final Championship classes.

Texas Hunter Breeding Super Series Designed to Feed into Texas Pre-Green Program

*Super Series Group partners Patrick Rodes, Pauline Cook, Peter Pletcher, and Colleen McQuay will add a new program to their already successful Texas Hunter line-up. The Texas Hunter Breeding Super Series will officially kick off at Spring Gathering show in Katy, Texas on Tuesday, March 31. Points from Pin Oak I and II will be included for horses enrolled during Spring Gathering show. Championship classes will be held in conjunction with the Texas Pre-Green Final Championship during Final Chase show in November, and bonus presentations will be held at this time.*

*Points will be accumulated by enrolled horses at shows throughout the season, including 10 points for Best Young Horse and five points for Reserve Best Young Horse at each participating show. Year-end bonuses according to season standings will be given to yearlings, two-year-olds, and three year-olds, as well as owners in each of these categories. Owners will accumulate cumulative points based on all horses owned.The Final Championship event will offer a $2,000 added Yearling on-the-line class, $2,500 Two-Year-Old on-the-line class, and $3,000 Three-Year-Old on-the-line class. Enrolled Three-Year-Olds will also be eligible for a $7,500 added Special Freestyle Performance class, bringing the total money added to the Texas Hunter Breeding Final Championship to an impressive $15,000. 2015 Tyler 4 to pay out $30,000 to Pre-Green Hunters!

Offering four $5,000 Texas Pre-Green Stake classes, the upcoming four weeks of shows at Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler, Texas will offer a total of $30,000 in prize money available to Pre-Green Hunters. The Texas Shoot Out, Lone Star Round Up II, Show Jumping Classic and Southwest Classic are scheduled to run from April 22 through May 4. Don't miss your opportunity to earn big in Tyler!

With a 2014 grand total of over $140,000 paid out in the Texas Pre-Green Super Stake Series' third year, the Super Series Group is proud to have increased Series payout each and every year to date. A total of 22 Stakes will be offered this year, and as always, the highly anticipated $25,000 Final Championship will take place at the conclusion of the Series.

2015 Texas Pre-Green Enrollment Doubles!

The 2015 Texas Pre-Green Super Series' first six $2,500 Added Stake classes have brought about enrollment of 36 horses, doubling last month's total and surpassing enrollment from February of 2014. Among the early season winners were Texas Pre-Green veterans James Hensen, Will Roberts, and Martien VanDerHoeven. New Texas Pre-Green Stake winner Amanda Comly also took two classes. All together, this group of riders has earned a total of $28,850.

Winners at both GSEC Winter Series I and II were new Texas Pre-Green winners Amanda Comly and NTEC Bravo, owned by Kai Handt. A five year-old Warmblood gelding, NTEC Bravo is in his first year of enrollment in the Texas Pre-Green Super Series.

Taking the Stake class at GSEC Winter Series III, Martien VanDer Hoeven and Augusta Pines Farm's Foremost took home $1,177 for their efforts. Also in his first year of Texas Pre-Green enrollment, Foremost is a seven year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.

The fourth and final week of GSEC's Winter Series was bested by Copy Right, piloted by Will Roberts. Owned by Falcon Ridge Stables, five year-old Warmblood gelding Copy Right is also in his first year of enrollment in the series.

Currently leading the series after the first six Stake classes are Casiretto, owner Krystal Zufelt, and rider Stacie Goodson. After a short break, the Series will resume with Pin Oak and Spring Gathering shows at Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, beginning March 17. With huge payouts at stake in the Texas Pre-Green classes at these shows, enrollment is expected to spike! Full standings available below.

2015 Texas Pre-Green Season Off and Running!

With 2014 regular season payout of $104,000, Final Championship Payout of $28,750, and $7,900 doled out in bonuses, the Super Series Group paid out a grand total of $140,000 in their third year running the Texas Pre-Green Super Stake Series.

2015 has already brought two Texas Pre-Green Stake classes, along with 16 horses enrolled in the first weeks of the Series. A total of 22 Stakes will be offered this year, and as always, the $25,000 Final Championship will take place at the end of the Series.

Winning both of the first two Texas Pre-Green Stakes in 2015 were Casiretto, owned by Krystal Zufelt and ridden by James Hensen. Second place awards were taken by StacieGoodson both weeks, aboard Angela Dominguez's Swagger at Winter Warm Up and Texas Pre-Green Veteran Mars, owned by Christine Lemieux, at Blue Ribbon Winter Circuit. Congratulations to our early leaders, kicking off the great momentum of the season to come!

2014 Texas Pre-Green Program Pays Over $132,000!

Friday's $25,000 Added Texas Pre-Green Final Championship delighted participants, paying out a total of $28,750! Added to the already impressive regular season payout of $104,000 and $7,900 in bonuses, this brought the Program to a total of $140,000 in payout for the 2014 year.

Winning the 30-entry Final Championship with the only 90 score of the evening were Dorothy Douglas and MTM Retro, owned by MTM Farm. Douglas credited "Retro" for his efforts saying, "I love this horse! He is such a good one." Also quick to thank the Super Series Group for their efforts, Douglas remarked, "I'm so thankful to everyone who works hard to put this program together. It's so great for the young horses, and so great for the industry." Douglas also gave credit to Retro's previous rider, saying, "Kelly Lorek rode Retro in the Stakes for the majority of the year."

Photo by Don StineMTM Retro earned both his rider and owner a Signature Texas Pre-Green Blue Crystal Bowl, along with an award cooler, NAG Bag Haynet from Ventures Vision, Whisper Bit from M3 Products, and a handsome paycheck of $6,230.

Taking second was Courtney Calcagnini aboard Harley, owned by Jana Rodes. ThePhoto by Don Stinepair held the lead until the very last rider in the second round, adding to the excitement of the already buzzing event. Harley earned $4,792 along with his prizes.

Placing third in the $25,000 Added Final Championship were Peter Pletcher and Hollywood Park, owned by Lynn Walsh, earning $4,312.

Cambridge, owned by Felicia Carroll was piloted by Will Roberts to come in third, earning $3,832.

In addition to the slew of prizes given to the top fifteen placings, the Super Series Group also provided award bags to all entries in the Final Championship. Included in the bag were items from Tack Wrap, SmartPak, Ultroz, EMO Insurance, and Olde Oaks Farm, along with custom wine, candles, and caps from the Super Series Group.

Between the first and second round of theChampionship, Texas Pre-Green Series Awards were presented. Leading Thoroughbred Fleetwoods Derby earned owner Felecia Carroll and rider Trapp O'Neal each a check of $1,250 for the Take 2 Second Career Thoroughbred Bonus.

Leading Horse for 2014 was Mars, owned by Christine Lemieux and ridden by Peter Pletcher and Stacie Goodson during the season, earning a $1,000 bonus from the Super Series Group, a Signature Texas Pre-Green Blue Crystal Bowl, and an embroidered cooler.

2014 Leading Rider, Peter Pletcher, rode a total of nine horses throughout the season to earn his position. Pletcher earned a Custom Classic Saddle from CWD, an embroidered jacket from EMO Insurance, and a $1,000 bonus from the Super Series Group.

Nanette Hebert, owner of two enrolled horses, was the 2014 Leading Owner. Earning herself a $1,000 bonus from the Super Series Group, a Signature Texas Pre-Green Blue Crystal Bowl, and an embroidered jacket from EMO Insurance.

Cash bonuses were also awarded to second and third place Series finishers, and supporters of the event were treated to ringside hospitality and dinner during the Final Championship and Awards Presentations. Despite the chilly weather, the Pre-Green horses did not disappoint!

With sincere gratitude to the participants and supporters of the Texas Pre-Green Program, the Super Series Group is proud to have produced another year of great mileage and success for Pre-Green Horses in Texas and beyond.
