The Pin Oak and Spring Gathering shows, scheduled to take place March 23-April 10 at Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, Texas, will offer $11,000 in USHJA Pre-Green Incentive money and $40,000 in USHJA National Hunter Derby money, all totaling $61,000 available for Pre-Green Hunters! Four classes into its second season, the Texas Hunter Breeding program is off to a great start with both new and returning faces. Also slated for both weeks of the Pin Oak Charity Horse Shows and Spring Gathering, this series is quickly picking up momentum as participants vie for season bonuses leading into the $15,000 Championship in November. Enrollment is open for both programs, both for specific horses and for "slots" to be designated later in the season.

Don't forget to begin planning for the second annual Texas Hunter Breeding $7,500 3 Year-Old Freestyle Performance Championship, scheduled to be held along with the Texas Pre-Green and Texas Hunter Breeding Final Championships at Final Chase Show in November. Three year-olds must be enrolled in the Texas Hunter Breeding program to participate, so owners are encouraged to nominate or purchase slots early for best rates!
